We are looking for a highly creative and detail-driven Designer to lead the development of rugs, textiles, and home décor collections. In this key role, you’ll drive the design process from concept to production—researching trends, creating sketches and technical specs, and ensuring flawless execution in collaboration with sourcing and manufacturing teams.
You’ll also manage timelines, margins, and assortment strategies, working closely with buying, production, and marketing to bring thoughtfully crafted collections to life. Key responsibilities
- Design and develop rugs, textiles, and home décor products from concept to production.
- Research trends, materials, and techniques to inform design direction.
- Create detailed sketches, digital renderings, and technical specifications for manufacturing.
- Lead the product design and development of our collections.
- Manage timelines, margins, and assortment strategies in collaboration with buying and production teams.
- Oversee design briefs, CADs, and supplier approvals to ensure flawless execution.
- Work closely with the marketing team to align design storytelling with brand identity.
- Maintain an organized design library, including samples, swatches, and trend reports.
- Occasionally assist with special brand and design projects where your expertise is needed.
Your qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5+ years of experience in product design, from interior design brands or adjacent fields
- A degree in Industrial Design, Textile Design, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of patterns, weaving, dyeing, and textile construction. - Strong skills design software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CAD).
- Organized, detail-oriented, and skilled at managing multiple projects.
- A keen eye for color, texture, and composition.
- Experience working with manufacturers and artisans is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for interior design, craftsmanship, and sustainability.
- A collaborative team player with a deep understanding of materials and production.
