Business Controller
A key analytical role at the heart of the company, combining business controlling with demand planning, buying and commercial analysis.
Nordic Knots is looking for a Business Controller to join our team in Stockholm. This is a key analytical role at the heart of the company, combining business controlling with demand planning, buying and commercial analysis. You will work closely with the CFO, Head of Finance & Analytics, Production, Design and Commercial teams to ensure profitable growth and data-driven decision making as we continue to scale.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working close to the business, understands the full value chain from product development to sales, and thrives in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment.
The Role
As Business Controller at Nordic Knots, you will operate at the heart of the business, owning and developing the company’s financial, analytical and controlling framework. You will act as a key business partner to the CFO and management team, providing clear financial insight, performance follow-up and decision support across the organization.
The role has a broad scope across profitability, cash flow, cost control and business performance, with a strong focus on building scalable structures and reliable reporting as the company grows. You will work closely with teams across Production, Design and Commercial to ensure financial transparency and alignment.
In addition, the role includes analytical and financial support to demand planning activities. In close collaboration with the Demand Planner, you will contribute to planning, follow-up and financial evaluation of buying and inventory decisions, particularly within emerging product categories. This involves establishing financial guardrails, follow-up routines and decision frameworks rather than owning day-to-day demand forecasting.
