Fulfillment Specialist US
About the Role
We are looking for a solution-oriented Fulfillment Specialist to join our Nordic Knots team. You will be responsible for ensuring our warehouse and last-mile operations in US flows efficiently and deliver the best customer experience possible. You'll mainly work remote from home, but some travels to our partners in Georgia and South Carolina are needed.
Key Responsibilities
· Handle our daily fulfillment operations within US. Including warehouse operations at 3PLs and delivery and return operations for our customers.
· Dealing with issues that might occur, like mismatch between purchase order and actual shipment, out-of-stock, returns etc.
· Release Sales orders to the warehouse and post tracking.
· Daily communication with our third-party logistics (3PL) partner in Atlanta to ensure accurate receiving, storage, and outbound processing.
· Track and analyze 3PL performance (e.g., pick accuracy, receiving lead time, returns handling) to make sure warehouse operators are performing as expected and according to contract.
· Address deviations and follow up on corrective actions with the warehouse.
· Work with cost analysis and continuous improvements to make sure we have efficient and cost-effective operations.
· Champions the system setup and act on error log, discrepancies
· Support colleagues in Supply chain with their tasks to balance workload and/or to cover during vacations and similar.
· Manage inventory accuracy and annual stock-count process.
· Handle returns and claims.
· Monitor and follow up with transport providers regarding the daily operations for US and Canada.
· Coordinate with logistics providers to optimize shipping solutions.
· Support customer service in delivery-related issues, delays, or claims.
· Support internal stakeholders with booking shipments, customs clearance and logistics knowledge when needed.
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain or business.
· At least 2 years of experience in supply chain/logistics, preferably in e-commerce, retail, and/or interior/fashion industry.
· Solid understanding of 3PL warehouse operations and performance metrics.
· Skills in Microsoft Business Central and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
· Fluent in English – additional languages are a plus.
