Sales & Showroom Associate, Part-Time

Nordic Knots is looking for a talented Sales & Showroom Associate to join our team at our flagship showroom at Birger Jarlsgatan 58 in central Stockholm.
As a Sales & Showroom Associate, you will represent Nordic Knots as a true brand ambassador and knowledgeable advisor to our clients. You will welcome both private clients and design professionals into our showroom, deliver an inspiring and personal experience, and guide them towards the right solutions for their homes and projects.
This is a part-time position of 26 hours per week, with the potential to develop into a full-time role in the future.
As part of our Retail Team at Nordic Knots, you enjoy connecting with people, are passionate about interior design, and are motivated by building lasting client relationships. You bring warmth, expertise, and commercial awareness to every interaction, ensuring that each client feels inspired and supported throughout their journey with us.
The ideal candidate has experience in premium retail or interior design. Category-specific knowledge of rugs, curtains, and home textiles is considered an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement & Sales: Provide professional guidance and deliver world-class service to private clients and design professionals. Actively engage with clients on the showroom floor and drive sales through inspiring, personal, and knowledgeable interactions
Client Relationships: Build long-term client relationships and create a positive and memorable experience throughout the entire customer journey
Support & Administration: Manage client follow-ups, quotations, and communication with accuracy, efficiency, and a proactive service mindset
Showroom Operations: Support the Showroom Manager with daily operations and the overall running of the showroom
Showroom Presentation: Help maintain the highest standards of visual merchandising and showroom presentation, ensuring that the space is organised, inspiring, and welcoming at all times
Inventory & Logistics: Manage inventory and support the ordering, receiving, unpacking, pricing, and restocking of products and samples
Product Learning: Take a proactive approach to continuously developing your knowledge of our collections, materials, and services
Systems & Tools: Use available systems and tools effectively to support a seamless client journey and efficient showroom operations
Team Contribution: Manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment and approach daily responsibilities with initiative and a solution-oriented mindset
Qualifications & Experience
Experience in premium retail or a background in interior design
Category knowledge of rugs, curtains, or home textiles is preferred
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a refined and personal approach to client service
Commercially minded and motivated by delivering results while maintaining a high standard of service
Organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to balance client-facing responsibilities and operational tasks
Proactive, hands-on, and comfortable taking initiative
A collaborative team player who thrives in a dynamic environment
Fluent in Swedish and English
Working Hours
Wednesday–Friday: 10:00–18:00
Saturday: 10:30–16:00
